A historic achievement as the 4th Japanese sailor.
The record of the solo Atlantic crossing race “Mini Transat 2025”.

About the Race

Crossing the Atlantic on a 6.5m Yacht,
Without a Smartphone.

The “Mini Transat” is a legendary yacht race that has continued since 1977. Sailors cross the Atlantic Ocean alone, traveling approximately 7,500km from France to the Caribbean. Sailors from 38 countries have participated, but only six Japanese sailors have ever taken on this challenge.

The Size of a
Free Throw Area

The total length of the boat is only 6.5 meters. It’s about as narrow as the area inside a basketball free-throw line. Inside, there is no bed, no toilet, and no kitchen.
